In the live brief we wanted to adjust the middle section so I came up with a few new ideas and storyboard this one. it shows one of the transitions I made and one of the bricks falling away, as it falls off screen vision and Thor fly up. Thor flies off screen and vision stays. His top flies off and his legs follow until eventually they meet in the middle and pop back together. As the child in the audio is finding something to say, vision waits and thinks.Then a tool menu, similar to a video game appears for him to select a pick axe. The pick axe takes centre screen. Vision flies in to grab it.

For the live brief we discussed whether or not we wanted to have smoke for the rocket so i did a rough test. However we decided that because the rocket pulled up the city we didn't want to distract from that.

I experimented with different transition ideas for a section in the live brief we wanted to change.
I really enjoyed roughing out these ideas and trying to animate a liquid look.
We ended up going in a different direction for this section but i think any of these would have worked if cleaned up.

I drew up more character designs for the live brief. As a group we narrowed down which designs we like and as a compromise I designed the final character based on two previous designs. 

The turnaround at the bottom is the final character design.

11 second club

First attempt at the 11 second club brief, i did this on paper, so there are a few mistakes and problems in the animation, however, the performance is still good and comes across with the audio well. 

The character designs in this also work really well and are quite charming.

I will be uploading my second attempt at this animation with a different software soon. 

live brief

For the live brief our group chose to do The Listening Project 'Legacy of Lego'
A few people from the group including myself decided on the story beats for the script. From there we cut the script into sections and split it between the group. I story boarded two separate endings which was eventually cut. I also looked at colour mood boards and textures for backgrounds.
I am currently working on character designs for the 4 year old boy in the audio.
